Air Inc Job Fair

I've never been to one of these and I'm thinking about hitting the one in DAL this month. Is it worth $150 to go to one of these, or am I getting ripped off? The top three airlines that I want to work for will be there so I'm thinking it may be good to go and see if meeting them can help me land an interview.

Yeah they usually set up a couple of banquet rooms with a bunch of tables. Is Air Whisky going to be hiring on the spot there cause I have to get off of Uncle Hulas' burning ship. Also does anyone know how many indy pilots got sucked up be Air Whisky today and yesterday at Dulles??? Thx

I dunno if there were any latecomers today, but there was 7 of us at 8am this morning, 4 from Independence.

I was at the DCA one last year. I talked to jb, sw, con, fed, ups, smiled handed my resume (6500 tt, 2600 pic 121 in an ATR, check airman, 737 typed) polite and talked the talk, and asked where do those competitive resumes go? The answer was "we are trying to get an idea of what type of experience is out there" Nowhere for me .....But I do know for a fact that many of the Flyi guys and girls are doing well at these meeting (which is very good) especially Airtrain. I think that if you know a few people at the airline that you go up to and introduce yourself to (well enough to have written a REC) it will loosen them up and perhaps be worth the money. I only knew a few pilots and nobody they knew...Bummer.
