Does anybody know why the Air Charter Guide website was changed form something incredibly helpfull and informative to an even more incredible waste of time and effort, 'casue you cant get SH1TE out of it now!!!

I'll second that.

Try to find operators at different airports and what planes they might have at out bases. Not very helpful anymore.

LAZYB do you know of any other website thats still usefull in the way the 'old' aircharterguide was?

looks like the new site is a 'pay for service' waste of time now, and only for operators and the like?

I third the motion, they really screwed up a great resource. I'd have been happy to pay few bucks a year for access to the old directory, but the new one is worthless.
Check out
airlinedata.com
they have a big list of operators,
or
raa.org/members/AirlineDirectory
This one has a good index with links to companies....neither has all the 135 operators like the old AirCharterGuide, but they're not bad for an index.

I've talked to a few folks at ACG after making some comments. I was told the changes were due to a lack of printed subscriptions (hence no more searching by airport online). They informed me that due to the amount of negative comments, they will be changing certain functions back to their original design. The ACG really screwed things up when they changed the site. Everyone I've talked to about it agrees.

alright! great, thanks mate:D

On the new ACG website you can find operators at certain airports but, it is rather difficult. Go to the search for operators section and type in the 3 letter identifiers for the airport that you will looking for and the 3 letter id of another airport and it will list all of the operators for a certain category of aircraft at that airport. It is rather cumbersome but it does work.

I was thinking the same thing. Before it was easy to put in an airport or city and get a list with helpful info of all charter operators there now you have to like trick it into getting you the info. Hope they change it back.

The only problem is that it will give you all the operators within a certain repositioning time or radius. It just used to be soooo easy :(
