AI Job Fair in MIA

Anyone attending the June 17-19 Job Fair in MIA?
Any recommendations on where to stay in MIA if attending this event?

I'm thinking of attending mainly for the opportunity to hand my resume to a couple companies in attendance. If I go, should I have a cover letter to go with the resume I'm giving the company rep(s) or is that redundant?

I checked the Air Inc website last night and so far they have jetBlue and Air Tran attending. There are others but they are not majors. The notices I've seen about past job fairs included Fedex and some others that I don't remember right now.
