What to do?

Eagle is a great place to work and there are more than a few older guys coming on board. Interview, do your best, get the offer then make a decision.
 
Great news for a twenty year old, no so great for a guy in his early fifties.

What to do?

Sounds like an easy decision. Don't do it. If I told my buddies flying bizjets that someone is going from that to flying for a Eagle they'd be laughing. If airline flying is what you want to do then hold out for the majors, looks like you have the time. There are many other options besides Eagle.
