The FAA physical was NEVER meant to be a super thorough physical. It was designed only to see if a person could see, hear, and have the basic health to fly an airplane. The FAA didn't want to get involved in super astronaut type physicals and all that it would entail - too time consuming, too many people, and too expensive. As it is and for what it does it already is proper and adequate testing. If you want a more thorough physical, go pay for one outside of the FAA physical.

Most FAA physical problems (can't fly) are self-disclosed anyway.

I think that you should be able to fly past 60, but if you do, then you must fly till you die. No exceptions.

I'm on the internet a TON, so I can't remember how I found the ...I just remembered. It was on my "My Yahoo" page in one of my Digg.com content areas..Digg.science, I think.
