IF the retirement age of 65 gets approved, here is a thought on a slow phase in period to keep any one group (the guys at the top now) from reaping all of the rewards.

A sliding retirement age:

Add 15 days per month / 180 days per year (6 months) to the mandatory retirement age until the age of 65 is reached. This process should take 10 years if I did my math correctly.

This way, each group of "senior folk" will get a LITTLE longer at the top until the magic age of 65 is reached.

Just a thought.

I like the idea but the problem is that someone will make this into an age discrimination law suite and no company will leave it's self exposed to that. Company mgt is going to have to at least make an effort to have i happen ASAP, this way they can blame it/defer all law suites on the unions
