Has ALPA released the results of their age 60 poll yet?
Our local polled our pilots (we are Teamsters) and the results were as follows:
76% voted to keep age 60
24% voted to fly past 60
The last time they polled the membership, over ten years ago I believe, the results were roughly 60%/40% in favor of keeping age 60. I was surprised that there had been so much movement in the pro age-60 direction. I was expecting the gap to have narrowed as we are a much older pilot group today than we were then.
