I have seen many people speculate that if Age 60 is abolished, that B funds would basically disappear. Can somebody with a good understanding of tax & compensation laws explain to me why this might happen?

B fund came from UALALPA. Negotiated based on age 60 being an early retirement per social security. This accompanied the standard A plan.

B plans will come under fire if we change the age. It won't matter that it's all we've got.
