An AeroUnion Airbus A-300B4-200, registration XA-TUE performing a freight flight from Monterrey (Mexico) to Los Angeles,CA (USA) with 2 crew, lost height after takeoff from Monterrey International Airport's runway 29 and impacted a highway losing an engine and wing before falling back onto the ground and coming to rest at around 23:30L (04:30Z Apr 14th). All on board perished, 3 people on the highway are reported killed, the airplane was destroyed. A large fire broke out.

Mexican Police has cordoned the area off.

There are 2 versions, one a rwy 29 takeoff, the other a rwy 11 landing....a guy posted in a mexican aviation forum that he landed just before the Airbus, so i guess the landing version is the one.

Mexicans, this is a Mexican cargo operation based at Mexico City

Now the official version is that the AC went down during a Missed App after trying to land on RWY 29.....witnesses hear the famous "bangs" in the engine before it went down.

Man, that's really heartbreaking, RIP guys.

I just heard that the radar trace showed how the Airbus after saying to ATC that they were gonna do a go around, never went up, instead they slowed down to 80 kts and of course, stalled and fell down.

But i heard this from someone who saw a video of the radar, not official yet.
