Sir your friend is an idiot. Our contract is not able to be open. And do you think that the rest of us will sit around and allow a 500 hour ERAU wonder baby make more then us?

If the typed FO's can't fly as CA then whats the point of this process? Paying for the extra training and an extra $10 an hr get the company what? -Bean
So that when they are ready to upgrade they can just hit the line and they do not have to lose a bunch of pilots while in training.
AE is very short on CA's they are starting to upgrade people like crazy.

You got it, and the CA type is a checking event which can result in a pink slip, the FO PC can not.
