Anyone know of any good studnet loan consolidators to go with.........I'm in forebearance right now, and I imagine it will be quite a long time before I'll be able to pay it off and live on a regional airline pilots salary comfartably......Any advice Folks??

do you have a fixed rate or adjustable? If fixed, i doubt you'd find a better deal now than what you signed on for when you took you loan. This was the case with me. I am 3% ahead than the best offer I could find 2 months ago when I started looking to consolidate. Who did you take your loan with?

Or you could just move to Brazil(hot chicks, why not?) never come back and screw paying it off.

Haven't spoke to the folks at Key Bank for a minute but my first payments are slated to begin in Sept., there goes the beer money and social life I guess.....And yea your second option is quite tempting but a relative cosigned for me when I took out the loan so that would'nt be to cool...Who did you get your best offers from, was it a private or govenrment instition?

All gov aidded agencies i talked to would touch it since key bank isnt a federal loan to begin with, so all that crap you get in the mail about consolidating your student loans doesnt really apply. I cant remember the names of any private banks since i just cried so hard when they told me 8% was the best they could do for me. Yeah I have a co-signer too, if mine kicks the bucket i'll see you in Rio!!(just a joke for those wound too tight)
