Guys-
I got Dean on the phone last Friday and he said that by next week(8/12)we will know our class and equipment dates!!!!

I can't wait!!!

For what it's worth, a friend of mine who flies for ACA said there are two CRJ classes, two 328 classes, and one J41 class scheduled for the month of September. 80 pilots in a month - wow - that's a lot. [/B][/QUOTE]

Looking at the numbers from our most recent manpower report I can comfirm that up to and including the 5/27/02 class we've hired 150. Of course from then to now we've added at least another 100. Sounds like those early projection of 400 this year might not be far off. Look for weekly CRJ classes starting in the new year. For those who got in already, you'll have people below you before you know it. Good Luck to all those interviewing!

I also finally got Dean on the Phone and I second the classes should be figured out by Tuesday he hoped. Good luck all!!

Has anyone

Do they place guys in class relitive to interview date, any one know?

I was just wondering I was a few days after Twotter, the 16th so should I assume not to much longer for a class like the first week or two of the month, or is there no pattern to it?

Seems to be all over the place. One guy that I interviewed with was offered a class on the 5th of this month for the CRJ and then you have me at the end of the month. Read into this whatever you will, I dont know what it means.

I had heard from a friend that is interning there that they are being picky who they send into what classes. Since they are semi-caught up in there hiring they can put the higher time people into the equipment they are best suited for.

housing

Does ACA provide housing for the first week or so like Comair does or are you on your own?

Any swimmers got a call this week for class, just wondering. If so when did you interview, what aircraft and what were your times. I'm trying to see how long this is going to take. Good luck all!

I talked with Twotter76 a bit ago. If you are going to be in a class at ACA, you need to get a crash pad early. When I left a couple of weeks ago they were all used up. Now if you want. I would reccomend that 3 of you stay at the Town Place Suites. It runs $59 a day. Its not too bad, but it will get you by until you find something. Another thing. If you are military you can stay at Andrews AFB for 25 dollars, but the drive is a killer. About 1 1/2 hours just to go 25 miles.

SkywayFO-

I haven't heard anything yet!! I'm starting to get impatient. I hope the UAL announcement of bankruptcy has nothing to do with it.....Good luck!

SkywayFO, Beechkid, and others

Also got the call today for 9/16 class, CRJ! I interviewed on 7/19 and was offered the job on 7/23. I had 2100 total, 400 multi, 40 turbine. Furloughed 121 guy, but with no real 121 experience (completed ERJtraining only).

See you in class.
