The BBQ at Michelbob's is pretty d@mn good. I'm a hardcore yankee (you know, we're the ones that eat shoe rubber and call it 'pot roast') and man... a full PLATTER of food, you may need to head to the ER for angioplasty after you eat. I ate there for the first time when I was 12, and discovered a love for BBQ.
If you folks are ever out Western MA (PSF gets mostly GE jets, but lots of charter in the summer...), check out "Hickory Bills" in AQW (30 minutes from PSF). Yeah, it is a haul, it's not on the airport... but it is all we have! Social worker quit his job, spent some time in Texas (learning how do smoke it right), and his beef back ribs are... well, if you don't die for them, you'll die after eating them. BED is close to the Blue Ribbon, which has great KC Burnt Ends.
Don't let the wives see this... but this company sells this great smoked jerky / meat / etc -- done over pecan shells. Good god it is addictive. One of my engineers brought in some of the turkey and I've since spent about $50 in a month. Not good. http://www.logsmokehouse.com/birds.html
A little off the BBQ topic, but if you ever have to head to PWM, there is one of the best pizza places in new england -- Ricettas. Was up there last night and had tailwind the whole way home. Mmmm, garlic.
