Yet another chapter of the AirTran Pilot's Union version of, Lord of The Flies. Looks like they managed to kill Piggy, now they are running through the jungle hunting the rest down

Hilarious :D

"Ralph wept for the end of innocence, the darkness of man’s heart, and the fall through the air of a true, wise friend called Piggy".

I swear I cannot get to SWA fast enough and leave these idiots of leadership behind.

Amen.

Everything ALPA touches turns to turd

My prediction. ALPA is going to F... this up for you!

This has nothing to do with ALPA. This is all our own local idiots. We now have 7 of the 11 total elected leaders who are brand new and changing all kinds of things, when there was never any sort of mandate from the pilots to change anything at all. But this is what happens when no one runs for office who has any experience and only 17% of the pilots even bother to vote. We can't blame ALPA for our own apathy and stupidity.

To be clear, it was the Chairman of the Contract Negotiations committee, not the Merger Committee.

I'll save my opinions on ATN71 business for our internal message board.

So you post 30 times a day on FI, strong arming your opinions, yet you save your opinion on this. I will not even say anything else or I am sure you will go cry to the moderator .

What a ******************************. Why do you feel compelled to comment on something you obviously don't have any knowledge of? Here, I'll try to explain it for you and SWA/FO, the other ATN71 savant:

The Negotiating Committee was removed by a vote of AirTran pilots who have been elected to serve the plot group. Not ALPA National.

Copy?

I'll reserve my opinion on this because it is an internal matter, not an external matter.

Most of your guys posting on here about ATN71 business are just blathering about stuff they don't understand. Maybe the AAI guys should start commenting about SWAPA matters, and voicing our opinions about all of your internal matters . . . Oh, wait, we wouldn't do that, because we know it's not any of our business at this point, even though we'll be living under those policies, eventually.

Amen.

Wow. An ALPA National EVP attacking his local union that he represents . After being fired.

True colors.

Unfortunately it is the truth. When SWAPA takes over as our union they need dump every current ALPA rep. Hold no one over for any amount of time.

Could not agree more, ALPA is not welcome anywhere near Empire Central.
