Why doesn't ALPA file a single carrier with the NMB on the regional airlines under AAG? At least get a few airlines together and stop the whipsaw.

Doesn't work that way.

Search NMB, single transportation system.

Again, how will the new carrier get the pilots to fly them.

Just shove the airplanes to an airline with a glut of 50 seaters and no real plans past 2015. Air Wisconsin?

Granted they'd need to spool up a 175 program.

Any word from the piedmont guys on the big meeting back on the 6th?

Nothing came about. Doesn't matter because if you offer crap to fly them well then it's crap that you'll find to fly them.

And they're running out of crappy people that are willing to fly them. Craps gotta give soon.

It's possible, but the flying starts 8 months from now, and every month that goes by is another month XJT is behind on E-175 certification.

Yea, By about 10 years and 3 company name changes ago

Our certification delay on 175s, mrjs and efbs is because everything we do goes thru sgu. Like ship kits, we do leg work, get denied by sgu and the Skyw pilots benefit. Even with Rois of less than two years we r told it's not worth it. There is either economic incompetence or animosity toward xjt at sgu. We lose six crjs and Skyw pilots fly them, later they're upgraded to larger planes. Wonder why there's bad blood?

I like Skyw and think its a great company. I have spent time with Skyw crews and we get along well. What is destructive is the dual standard and the damage it causes, that inc has either created or allowed.

i understand your frustration about the transferred A/C, it's a crap deal, but we deal with very similar operational frustrations. Brasi pilots never getting ship sets, tons of false starts on EFB, this satellite domicile back and forth, it really demonstrates incompetence. And our crew sched manager is the devil incarnate. Ironic his initials are JO.
