I tried to jumpseat on AA a few years ago to Rio out of MIA and wasn't allowed to. I was wondering if things have changed. A friend said that he has jumpseated international on AA recently, he is also non cas. Any info. will be appreciated. Thanks

1. you may have not been on the international list
2. cass deals only with the cockpit, you can still get "the jumpseat" and sit in the back of the plane

i jumpseated out of San Jose, Costa Rica last year in the back without issue. check with your union to see if you have recip international agreement.

I Just came back Monday GIG-MIA on American. Jumpseat was no problem.
My company is CASS but you still have to ride in back on int'l.
