Just curious what you guys at AA are being told about the letter 3 settlement that Eagle reached with management yesterday. They are being very tight lipped about it for now.

No one flow until everybody is recalled and 250 new AA numbers that go to the bottom of list and Supp W is extended. This is what was passed around.

What about those that elected flow through and never received a number? The AE board is also mentioning the 250 number as well, but they are saying that this will be 250 new numbers, if this is the case that would mean that we would be sending over 1000 pilots over, this would be great news for us.

Forget it. She's a 1985 AA FA newhire. Now she's IOR and lives with 15 cats in an apartment in Schaumberg... ;) TC

Ok, back to our regularly scheduled thread:

This is off C & R:

This TA settles all 3 outstanding Supp W grievances.

-All AA furloughed pilots will be offered recall prior to any additional AE flow-thru pilots coming to AA.

-Any new seniority numbers assigned to AE flow-thru pilots will be at the bottom of the current AA pilot seniority list.

-The current 397 AE flow-thru pilots on the AA pilot seniority list may decline when offered the opportunity to flow-thru to AA.

-Any AA flow-back pilots still at AE after May 1st, 2008, will remain as a flow-back captain until offered recall to AA.

---------------------

I'll post the rest as soon as it's up. Maybe the Eagle guys will get it sooner. TC

Here it is...

American, Eagle Pilots Reach Agreement that Revises Flow-Through Agreement
Deal Offers Career Advancement, Furlough Protections and Strengthens Operations

Euless, Texas & Fort Worth, Texas (October 23, 2007) — The pilots of American Eagle, a unit of the Air Line Pilots Association, Int’l., and American Airlines, represented by the Allied Pilots Association, reached a tentative agreement with their respective managements that settle three outstanding disputes over the parties’ flow-through / flow-back agreement.

The agreement provides career progression for a significant number of American Eagle pilots to American Airlines while giving furlough protection for American Airlines’ pilots. American Eagle is a wholly owned subsidiary of AMR (NYSE: AMR) and provides feed to American Airlines as well as point-to-point service in North and Central America and the Caribbean.

The agreement provides for American Airlines furloughed pilots to be recalled to American Airlines before American Eagle pilots can flow through to American Airlines, as well as the continued ability to obtain positions at American Eagle if there are further furloughs at American.

“We believe that if we can create a joint interest centered on career progression and a strong relationship with our mainline, we will be best positioned to address the existing disparity between mainline and regional pilot scope interests,” said Herb Mark, master executive chairman of the Eagle pilot group. “We are pleased to have taken our second step towards that end.”

“We believe that the goals we sought in this negotiation have been achieved, and that this agreement is in the best interests of American Airlines pilots,” said Captain Lloyd Hill, president of the Allied Pilots Association. “We are also pleased at the mutual cooperation between the two unions in working towards this agreement. We look forward to fostering and further building the relationship between our two pilot groups.”

This agreement also facilitates pilot recruitment at American Eagle by providing guaranteed movement in the pilot seniority list, bonus programs, incentives for pilot retention, and growth.

The parties are now working on crafting contract language, after which the tentative agreement will undergo the unions’ individual ratification processes.

Does anyone know what the percentage of Eagle rights vs. flow through pilots at Eagle right now?

Not sure about that, but it does not matter, all the eagle rights guys are going to be offered numbers, sounds like the top 1500 guys on our list will be offered numbers. If they go or not is up to each person.
