I’m all for letting those who would like to fly past 60 to keep doing so. I just don’t think it’s reasonable that it is done at the expense of those who are planning an age 60 retirement.
Why not allow those over 60 to continue flying at the bottom of the seniority list. This will protect all of those who decide to retire at 60 from stagnated advancement due to those not retiring at 60. Of course, full longevity pay should apply.
Thoughts?
