A question for fellow pilots

On April Ihad a succesful interview with a regional of the Northeast.After an offer of employment they explained to me that my training cannot start until the issue of training non U.S. citizens in sims is resolved by the dot.(I am a permanent resident)
An e-mail to the FAA was not answered.Any help/suggestions/info would be great help for me..If anybody in same situation please e-mail royal1972blue@hotmail.com
