Don't forget that the holy grails of United, American, and USAir used to hire you if you had a temporary commercial certificate. And that was back in the day without our fancy GPS autoflight systems.
 
The problem with low time FO's is they don't know how dangerous they are. They make life difficult for the captain, but that fact does not register with them. What a disaster this job has become. I'm flying with losers. Everybody is a loser.

Its mostly attitude! I flown with 300hr pilots that have done one hell of a job! Seems to me in my experince, every low time FO I have flown with that had a great attitude seem to do a great job!
The ones you have to watch out for, are the 300hr pilots with the 'Chuck Yeager know it all mentality'!! Those are the ones that will kill ya! And they are the ones that are the most fun to fuk with! Kinda cool knock'in those pricks down a couple of pegs!!

Attitude, it has a lot to do with it!!
