Ah, the FAA has been paying attention:

Blame EVERYTHING on the past administration.

So when the fed walks up to me for a ramp check, I'll just tell him to head over to the airline side and finish up with them first.

The names and faces change but the story remains the same. Ask how many FAA management get jobs at "Industry" positions or industry awards for being "industry friendly". Makes you wonder how may "paychecks" they are getting and isn't their job to make the aviation world safer for the flying public. Everything inside the Washington beltway IS politics. IMHO nothing will change.

Exactly. The FAA has become a hare-brained lap dog for the ATA. Oh, sure they'll bite when they're publicly embarrassed (AA & SW last year) but then, they'll lay down and go back to sleep. Nothing will change.
