Commutair Questions
1. Pay during Training?

2. Where is Training held and How long?

3. Upgrade time frame?

4. Overall QOL of the pilot group?

5. Is hotel covered by the company during training?

1) Pay during training is $16/hour, 19 hours/week. Per diem is paid to cover hotel, double occupancy.

2) Training is held in Plattsburgh, NY for 3 weeks (1 week indoc, 2 weeks systems). Simulator training is at LaGuardia, Orlando or Denver (8 days including checkride). IOE is held out of any domicile (PLB, BOS, ALB or CLE).

3) We have first officers who are making 3rd year pay right now. One would hope that would change, but there are no guarantees.

4) QOL is rather subjective. You might get PLB. You might like PLB. You'd almost certainly have to move there. You might get CLE, which is rather more commutable, with everything from day trips to stand-ups and four-day trips.

5) Yes, double occupancy. You are "expected" to room with your sim partner.
