MEC....?
RJDC...Regional Jet Defense Coalition...I think.

MEC - Master Executive Council (each Airline's union leadership basically)
RJDC - Regional Jet Defense Coalition (do a search, you'll be reading for days:))

Does that mean they're going to hang missiles on RJs to defend the friendly skies?

How about BBQ?

Anyone know what TKS stands for? Or even better does anyone care?

T - Technic Ltd.
K - Kilfrost Ltd.
S - Sheepbridge Sintered Iron Works

The three companies that developed the system sometime back in the WWII era.

Does anyone care? Maybe, maybe not. Used properly, this little bit of info can be used to acquire a beverage, maybe several, of your choice without you having to pay... that makes it worth knowing. Cheers!

Whistling Sh!tcan of Death, better known as the Embraer Legacy. There was a debate going on for a while whether the proper acronym was WSoD or WSCoD, don't know if it was ever settled

Nope...didn't get that memo.

EDIT: thanks MA. I should prob get back to work instead of making fun of the Short Bus...
