Great numbers guys/gals...... But sadly it's a game of poker. Now the company will fold (not likely) or call your bluff.

They did agree on a handful of contract sections last week...not that anyone really cares about PAC checkoff and Uniform Standards but it is a move in the right direction finally.

Yep, you have to keep closing out sections. Pretty soon there won't be anything but Compensation, Retirement and Scheduling left for the company to weasel out of negotiating. This becomes very obvious to the Mediator and is not a popular tactic with them.

On June 3 2009, the Airline Pilots Association and Spirit Airlines appeared before the Honorable Judge Avern Cohn in the US District Court for Eastern Michigan to present their oral arguments concerning Spirit’s Motion to dismiss the Airline Pilots Association lawsuit alleging “Bad Faith Bargaining”. After extend discussion the judge indicated an interest in speaking with our Federal Mediator. We will keep you informed as events occur in this case.
