Let's fly them for 50 bucks an hour..they are so shiny!

I saw some 900's @ the TOC in ATL. Has any one else seen them?

Don't you see they are Union busting airplanes? They are DC9-10's that you are flying for LESS than half rate. Grow a spine...I know you deserve more.

GoFaster

Don't get your hopes up. We've seen several airframes at the north end of the field and nothing came of it(Q400, ERJ170,ATR72-500). I'm not going to believe we're getting anything new until I see it on C/D concourse. And even then I'll be looking to make sure the ASA logo hasn't been taped on for quick removal. Besides why would they need to see the airplane, they have already seen it and ordered it once before.

Just don't hold your breath. Any new Delta regional flying will go to Skywest or CHQ. I wont even be surprised if someone else gets turboprops to replace our ATR's, and flies them out of ATL.

Everyone in the Airline Industry is screwed. You will see Mesa/CHQ get the bigger planes because Delta will go to ALPA say "Hey we will let you fly those 90 seater but everyne who goes there has to take half pay". ALPA will run to the pilots begging them to take it, big fight amongst the Delta Pilots and the pay cuts do not take place.
So now Delta goes to the BK judge screaming bloody murder that if they dont get these 90 seaters online they cant survive. So the BK judge will say that scope is now dead and Delta give the planes to whoever they want and be allowed to force the pay rates.
So since all the Delta pilots have to big of egos to take the deal Delta will give them to the lowest bidder. Now from out of the slim Mesa and CHQ will bid offering to fly them where the FO's (who gladly do this) will make around 16k and Capts ( who will also gladly do this) will make around 40K.
Then Delta pilots will bitch and Mesa or CHQ pilots start bitch 5 years down the road because they are still there and have no way of moving forward.

WTF cares! (besides asaDrivel & ohPlease-may-I-have-another)

VOTED IN FAVOR!

Some of us do care about our future. You seem to not care, maybe you should move on. From a union standpoint, you should care because the more flying that is transferred, the less leverage we have. Do you not understand that?

ASA never had any orders for the 900 tool! Move on, I don't think so. I'm not going anywhere so that I can watch you get furloughed, and that will be worth it.
