Another Beautiful Boeing to grace the skies, when it looks right it fly's right. :D

Anybdody seen the new CAL stickers...

something to the effect of "The 7e7 dream lure" "We won't get hooked"

And its got a picture of the 7e7 with two fish hooks hanging from it.. Pretty clever...and right on the money if you ask me.

Fly Barney Jets -Yes it would look great in Canyon Blue until the paint goes off like some of the 700s What's happening to the paint ???

Dunno...just a deep-end poolie so far. I'll ask when I get to class in six months or so!

;)

The paint is mostly fine... only a couple jets lookin tired and I bet they are different paint than what they're doin now. I'll ask at my PT.

Let's hope more airlines will "buy American" with this new beauty.

Most of it will be built in China and Japan. The 777 is mostly built in Japan (info from the early 90's). They make these agreements to get these countries to buy so many Boeings.

I have a Toyota Tacoma. One of the local "go usa" airport bums gave me crap about buying it because it wasn't made in the US. It was built and assembled in the US. The VIN starts with a 5.

On the E-170 the avionics and engines are designed and built in the US.

and here is where the 717 is going or who Boeing gave it too (along time ago)

Give em some time. They will figure out how to get it converted to a 737 type.

They will call it the 787SW

Yeah, and SWA will demand that the overhead panel still be a 40s-era technology 727 panel, with the ridiculous trim wheel (really, that was obsolete about 30 years ago!), with generators still to be brought online manually--and Boeing will go along with it.

I forgot--that is the 737 "Next Generation" (my arse) history.

Yeah it's too bad your only flying CRJ's.

I didn't mean it the way your warped tiny skull understood it. SWA has no intent to get another type of aircraft, therefore, crews will not get to fly the 787. The 737 is a great aircraft don't get me wrong.
