That T-33 chaseplane was really working to stay with the Boeing on the T/O roll.

DANG that's a lot of wing flex. Wait until you see it at FL410 heavy and in the bumps.

The wings have a built-in upward curve, which is only amplified when the wings are generating lift. On the ground, you can see an unusual upward curve to the wing while at rest.

Way to go, Boeing!
 
Lots of wing flex. Are those composite? How close were they to MGTOW?

Yes, the wings are mostly composite.

I believe the takeoff wt was around 390,000lbs, (MGTOW somewhere around 500,000lbs).

Not sure I would want to fly on one of these when they start getting old?
