747 and Women

...FWIW...I fly F-15s too, and I would also like to fly a 747. I rode them as a kid and they are one of the reasons I dreamed of becoming an airline pilot one day.

I'd also like to fly a DC-3. You can add a Citabria to go with my dream list, and perhaps a nice Beech Baron if I ever get rich. I wouldn't mind owning a T-28.

I love to fly. So does CCDiscoB. I'll walk a picket for my Q of life issues, but airline pilot or not, flying planes is fun and cool. The best way to appreciate the job is to go do something else (even part time while you keep your job) for a while and you'll realize that time off from work and good benefits are important, but they sure aren't what make you smile when you get out of bed in the morning.
 
The ultimate flying machine I have ever flown would be a DC-10...everyone that ever did would agree with me. In a 747 you sit in some kind of bubble, no idea what is happening behing you...
