I know some of you have obtained 737 type ratings out there. Just wondering which places are good and priced reasonable?? What did it cost you?? Also are there schools that I should avoid?? Thanks for the positive feedback!!

By all means, search the boards. This topic comes up very frequently, and there's a lot of good information out there.

I went to Higher Power and was very pleased. I've had friends go to K&S and Flight Training Int'l, and they were very happy with them.

I've also has three different friends go to Aeroservices, and every single one of them hated the place, and wouldn't recommend it to their worst enemy.

So there you go. :D

FTI: $6000
HPA: $7500

It's your cash!

Lots of options to spend your cash on - I've only been to HPA, and they were fantastic. I have yet to see a post which would refute that. Mark and company have the talent and capacity to treat each client like family.

Best of luck!

I did K&S Aviation in Pheonix. It was the least expensive I could find. It worked well for me.
