Does anyone know if there are any places where you can get a few hours in the real airplane before getting your type in the 737?

I guess it used to be that before being legally signed off as a PIC you had to be signed off in the real bird. I dont know the provisions though...

A few points I think should be made:

1. If your time is accurate you will not be a PIC on a B-737 for a very very long time. Sorry bud you have almost NIL experience.

2. Why are you looking to get a B-737 type anyway? You are really wasting your money. Noone will hire you to act as a B-737 PIC so why are you asking about this endeavor?

3. And finally I dont know of anyplace that will give you time in the actual airplane. There may be some places out there that do but I highly doubt it.

I highly recommend visiting the website in DangerKitty's signature line. Spread the word. They must be stopped. Especially the ice dancers!

Thanks for your support ReverseSensing. Next to terrorism figure skating is probably the biggest threat to the USA. It must be stopped.

Guys, whoa...

I'm not looking at a type right now, and don't expect to be a PIC after I get one.

I'm just asking if anyone knows of a school that gives you some time in the real bird, thats all.

No sweat. I think a lot of us have a little Larry Pamper pain inside.
