Does anyone in the Las Vegas area have info. on this company? It's this a started-up operations? are they part of Vision airlines, maybe??.

Vision's 737 operation is based in Miami or at least the crews are doing charters. The Headquaters is based at VGT and they do charters and grandcanyon tours in DoJet and Do 228's

I don't know if it actually Vision Airlines! The company ad said they have 6 B-737-600, so I wondering if this is a new start-up company?

I see Janet finally got some newer 737's! Too bad their paint job still sucks!

Sounds like Groundhog Day every day flying for Janet. Now you have a glass cockpit with the 737-600 to do all of your work for you on your flights to Area 51. Sounds real boring and very much like a bus driver job... I suppose job security is good.

Their paint scheme is still better than every regional and every legacy except one. Cheat lines rule.....even if it's just one red stripe.

Someone once told me but I forgot, what does Janet stand for? Just Another something...?

This position requires a high level security clearance. It is with a company called URS. Not an easy job to get! Especially, since it is the Chief Pilot job!

There must be a reason why they're always hiring...

I think they feed their pilot's to the bad aliens!
The good aliens are vegetarians.

The word from someone who worked there (and quit) is that the gravy train from Uncle Sam is coming to an end, and the company is thus tightening down it's operation. Pay has been decreasing and hours have been increasing.

The company's contract is also up for bid soon, and there is a competitor trying to undercut, so URS is trying to reduce their costs to keep the contract.

Also, the way I've heard it described (again, no personal experience there) the lack of a union and having the supervisory levels staffed by retired O-6s and above who don't remember that they are retired, makes a tough work environment.
