exactly... I am an ASA guy, and althought I don't wish ill upon anyone at Mesa, I don't really care about mesa specifically, markets will take care of inefficiences.

I don't know who hates Mesa more. Their passengers or the airport ground crews .

Just venting a little - A Mesa CR7 occupied F11 at ORD for an extra 1.5 hours on a Maint Delay last night (Low 02 pressure), delaying our inbound plane assigned to that gate. Pax were furious on the inbound a/c and they delayed the next flight as well. I'm sure UAL has noticed their Mx delays getting out of control. Didn't Mesa save $15mill last quarter by deferring preventative engine Maintenance as well?

Anyway, part of this mess is UAL's fault for not having enough gates, but it shouldn't take Mx over an hour to refill an 02 bottle if thats what the real reason was. All the gate agents and rapers always shrug and say what more would you expect from them?
