I can tell you that DAL is trying to do recovery flights. Had a few 88 on the 0730 push going to MEM.

Now lets hope they put them back together correctly... I don't trust anything coming out of the hangar, especially things marked 'RUSH'.

$5 says there will be no profit sharing this quarter.

We didn't even make 95% completion factor for the month. That is how Delta was able to cancel Freedom's contract -- repeated months of below 95%.
2nd quarter is screwed too. That makes what, 3 quarters in a row that maintenance had screwed you guys on your bonus? Sorry guys

CRJ,

You are such loser. Obviously an ASA lifer(not that there is anything wrong with that, but you appear to be the type that got turned down at the majors and have a huge chip) Is anyone as brilliant as you?? I mean your bash everyone, with nothing positive to say about anyone/anything. Mgmt, Alpa and of course you save your best for the Delta pilots. I am not sure if I should feel sorry for you or depise you.

It sure is great to know that this is totally the fault of upper mgmt. Just when I was starting to think Skyw ran such a good operation.....

-Whoever the hell is responsible over in mtc should be summarily fired and then given a "pillow party" in the parking lot.

Well as I recall ASA awarded DAL Tech Ops a very nice contract to overhaul engines last year. Now this does not sound like an overhaul but a stage inspection so it might be ASA's fault, but DAL may get some egg on its face too.

No kidding. Imagine for just a second? This guy, with all his brilliance could have become anything. Rocket Scientist. Brain surgeoun. World leader.
But imagine how honorable this guy is to just settle for lifer ASA f/o when he could have been anything!
WOW! Just, WOW!

There was zero chance of us getting performance plus payout this quarter, anyway. This just cements the deal.

There will be a huge rush to judgment. Hopefully, we will also be judged on how we recover from this.

I hope that we, ASA, don't drop the ball on the recovery from this, though. There is an opportunity here.

Do you think it was a coincidence that this audit was completed the night before a new quarter started?

Gives us some time to make up for the resulting metrics.

Several days ago, one of my flights was an hour late due to an "LC1". I noticed both cowls were off and thought it was odd. Does MTC remove the engine cowls for an LC1? Do you suppose it was actually this inspection?

I hear it is something to do with the improper tracking of the serial numbers of some kind of engine parts which are required to be boroscoped.

Looks like something some our new "all-star" top mtc managers (formerly Delta-one and all) should have caught. I wonder if RA is dumping his riff-raff on us to destroy the operation.....

-Great plan for these losers-take an early-out from DAL, get a six-sigma certification and go f-up some other airline! All the while getting paid massive coin!

-Gee, Thanks!

Great job McFry. Time to go back to the french fry maker at McRonalds. And thanks for blaming RA and others, when it was your guys' fault. All you can do is BLAME, when it was YOUR problem. Now SkyWest is getting dumped on too, with downgrades. Yikes.

Bye Bye--General Lee

They knew about this well before the official announcement.

looks like they need to inspect the 7th stage sfetzer valve and prepare the new one with some ball bearings, 3 in 1 oil, some gauze pads, and some preston anti-freeze, wait...make that quaker state...its all ball bearings these days
