Hey General, I had to ride on you guys the other day.....nothing int'l or laborious or DVT-producing, just a short 1.5 hour domestic hop after arriving back here after the real flights on someone else. Well, guess what?..........

Nobody pi$$ed me off!...NOBODY!....and a CSR was even HELPFUL and SMILED! I kid you not.

and that's not all, nope........

I got coffee, and they didn't even have to go make it especially for me....it was ALREADY ON THE CART!!!

Well, needless to say, I was so stunned and in a state of dazed wonderment, the ham-fisted carrier-landing didn't even register until later when I was safely collecting my bags......

.....WHICH ACTUALLY SHOWED UP ON THE SAME FLIGHT AS ME, AND I'M TALKING BOTH OF THEM!

Now the bad thing is, I hate to think I've used up all my luck so early in the month, but General, I'm giving credit where credit is due.

You know, Plato was right, sometimes Pleasure IS simply the absence of Pain. Well done.

No problem. Given your past hiring practices, you guys always get a "bye" from me on the landings, especially if the captain makes it. Besides, if y'all ever mistakedly land at a 3,500 strip somewhere with me onboard, I don't want their skills to be rusty and eat up runway with a lot of that sissy, rounding-out flarey girlie crap...I want them to get it down NOW!

On any Delta flight, I don't care how hard we hit as long as I'm not having to dis-entangle myself and my carry-ons from a Rubber Jungle as I deplane. It's bad enough from business class, but if I'm stuck in coach, that's a lot of swinging O2 masks between me and the door, and we're probably late so I'm hurrying to make my connection.

So I'll accept the landings if all else is well and meets my expectations. I wasn't raised a spoiled child, and therefore know one can't have everything.
