This is all laughable....hypocrisy at its best. Back in the late 60s & early 70s the 15 passenger puny BE-99s turboprops were not deserving for these jet pilots at the Majors. Instead of fighting for unity, a divide & conquer mentality was established.
Poverty type wages have now existed for 40 plus years for this so called profession in the commuter ranks. Oh yea, btw, you owe Union dues on those poverty wages. If your lucky enough, you just might make it to the big ranks with us flying the big jets. Then out comes the dreaded CRJ....scope, scope, I need some scope. You gotta love it.
Now in 2014, an additional 85 plus passengers are being carried on commuter jet equipment and the talk is inadequate staffing and the main carrier may need to add these aircraft to their fleet to staff them properly. Pilots are their own greediest worst enemies over the years.....team unity players.

Yup...karma...a flow or a staple way back then would have solved a lot of problems..I lived through it...they reap what they sowed...glad to see it happen
