I have heard that it is basically the same thing as an Initial ride. Was just wondering if anyone has done one that could add some insight.

I had a friend do one, it should basically be a PC (at any airline).

The only variable is how much sim prep does your airline give you before the ride?

A "441" is short for a 121.441 checkride, otherwise known as a proficiency check. Same thing, same requirements. No different than one airline calling a CDO a nap, another calling it a stand-up, another calling it a bendover.

Shouldn't be anything out of the ordinary.
