Ce402

The best Ce402 job that can be found is at Cape Air www.capeair.com

Nice aircraft, real inter-airline jumpseat arrangements, decent pay, paid holidays etc...

I would consider flying for them.

Jeez. You wanna see poverty, come fly the Canyon. On one hand, you can fly 135 PIC in a 402 with minimal hours, on the other hand, expect about 1,000/mo in company pay. Don't ask about the tips, they don't legally exist.... that's all I'll say. I've heard Capeair is the place to go for the 402, but as a mechanic I'll tell you it's nearly impossible to get parts for the 400 series anymore. Their days are numbered.

On the corporate side, I was offered a job flying a 320 and a 421 for 40k/year from a mexican resort. I thought it was low, seeing as I'd be married to the company, at their disposal on site 24/7. I asked for 50 and never heard from them again.

So it's off to Alaska, making 40+/year with garaunteed days off and benefits in a 207. Go figure.

I was paid $40,000 a year to fly a 404 and 414. No benefits and five 14 hour days per week, which included one weekend and one Saturday per month. Not a great QOL but I was home every night.
