Hard to believe even if you include per diem...
If you multiply your top captain rate by a 1000 hours a year max, still don't get close to "more than $120,000".

most of the senior captains do IOE at a 20% override, any junior available assignments are paid at 200% above guarantee, any illegal reassignments are paid at 200% above guarantee, 100% cancellation pay, line guarantee, Scheduled or actual......its not hard to get to that 120,000 a year flying the 900.
mesa has also been offering 300% pay for incentive flying too.

Not trying to make this a "my paycheck is bigger than yours" argument, but I've been breaking that mark for years, without doing OE/training, and not really killing myself on extra flying. And that's flying the 200 (all we have at AWAC).

You should be making a lot more on a 700 or 900.

Peace.

I agree, rome wasn't built overnight either. Mesa is in negotiations and we plan on getting a pay raise via rates this time. Although Endeavor (pinnacle and PSA) are making that quite tough to do. Time will tell, hopefully when push comes to shove, mesa pilots have some balls (like eagle) and do whats right for the industry.

You can only expect them to do what is right for themselves and their families. For the moment at least, lets just pause and enjoy the moment. Celebrate the success for what it is in this brutally competitive industry. Hats off to the Mesa pilots for their dedication and persevere over a long period. Well done.

What you do not understand is the role of the creditors committee. They were pushing very very hard for an 1113? Just ask those who were there.

it was never on the table and the creditors committee never went after the labor goup since the pay was below industry ........remember who was the co chair on the creditors committee? it was ALPA

stop making up s----

settle the contract and move on
