I interviewed at CAL back in October 2005, got shot down. Has anyone on this forum gotten a 2nd shot at an interview after being shot down, and if so how long was it before you got your second chance ? thanks

The thanks but no thanks letter i received said i would be automatically reconsidered after a year, does this mean they will call me again ?

Thanks

I don't know of anyone being re-interviewed. But that doesn't mean "no". We have a ton of apps on file and you would have to have some good pull to get another chance. I think the reconsidered again in a year means that you could re-apply in a year. All this is just my opinion.

Good Luck

I think that CAL only began hiring off the street a little over a year ago, so there really isn't much data out there as to whether or not people are reinterviewing. If you have a solid internal recommendation, the best thing would be for them to ask their CP.

I was shot down in September of last year.
I am going to a job fair next week.
Perhaps the recruiters will give me a better idea if us rejects get a second chance.

I did see a guy that interviewed the same day as I did. He came back for annother interview when I was in training. This is probably not the norm, he was a former CAL employee.
