2000 hour RJ170 captain? for real?

There are often FO's who have more time then the CAs. Some senior FOs either don't want the hassle, can't get a first class medical, or they love their cushy schedule too much to upgrade. It doesn't have to be a mix up. It happens all the time. The CA probably did have 2000 hours and the FO probably did have 5300 hours. So I ask again, what is the big deal??

They do, and it states that in the report. For a 121 captain it can be no more than 6 months old..

I wondered what injured the FA, the 3,500 climb? Did she/he fall down and break a leg? At 3,000 feet should'nt the FA be strapped in and prepared for landing?

No she was most likey doing her final cabin garbage pass. Most FA's don't stap in until they get the double CHIME from the flight deck.

You need at least 2500 total to upgrade at Chq/sa/rep so i guess its a misprint
