Whenever we have to get serious about it we use a program called UltraNav which can run the required calculations literally as fast as you can enter the information into the computer - maybe 15 seconds. Like I said, I know how to use the charts, but I know better. :p

By the way, I got my type yesterday in the Airbus....whewooooo... and the question was never asked. I was prepared though. Thanks fellas....

Good on you! By the way, is it true what they say about the difference between Beoing pilots and Airbus pilots? You know, Airbus pilots don't have anything between their legs. :p

That's funny. I look at it a bit different however; I've been playing with a stick all my life so the transition was quite easy!:p Having started on a boeing though, the pig, I'd rather fly that anyday.

I hope flying the bus is more fun than the training!
