Two Northwest Planes Collide At MSP

May 10, 2005 8:15 pm US/Central
Minneapolis (WCCO) Two Northwest Airlines planes collided Tuesday at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.

According to initial reports, a DC-9 was experiencing hydraulic problems when it landed but landed safely. AS it was taxiing into the gate, it lost control.

The DC-9's wing hit the cabin of a Northwest Airlines Airbus.

Several emergency crews have been dispatch to the airport.

Thats it.....I'm never deadheading on Northwest again! What a bunch of loose cannons.

Maybe Pinnacle could dispatch a female Captain to start an inquiry as to why the mainline Captain decided to taxi with hydraulic problems?

exactly.

if you're going to DH, make dam sure its on your own ride.

There are a few tools at XJ that I'd rather pass on the deadhead. I'll call Bemidji air. :)

Someone call a friend at MSP and have them scope out the scene! hope it isn't as bad as it sounds...

Hogan said no flights were delayed because of the accident.

Whatever. What about the Airbus flight trying to leave. Well I guess that was already late, being NWA and all.
