Two Northwest Planes Collide At MSP

May 10, 2005 8:15 pm US/Central
Minneapolis (WCCO) Two Northwest Airlines planes collided Tuesday at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.

According to initial reports, a DC-9 was experiencing hydraulic problems when it landed but landed safely. AS it was taxiing into the gate, it lost control.

The DC-9's wing hit the cabin of a Northwest Airlines Airbus.

Several emergency crews have been dispatch to the airport.

Thats it.....I'm never deadheading on Northwest again! What a bunch of loose cannons.

Maybe Pinnacle could dispatch a female Captain to start an inquiry as to why the mainline Captain decided to taxi with hydraulic problems?

exactly.

if you're going to DH, make dam sure its on your own ride.

There are a few tools at XJ that I'd rather pass on the deadhead. I'll call Bemidji air. :)

Someone call a friend at MSP and have them scope out the scene! hope it isn't as bad as it sounds...

It was Jetflier the best god dam CAptain of all NWA....WAtch out he's a captain!!

Sorry....I was laughing so hard when I hears that 9e was going to get 70 seaters......

maybe the FAA will be lenient and and not require 9e pilots to be in the cockpit with the engines running, that way fee for departure will become really profitable and 9e will not have to pay pilots to fly the crj's.............

seriously....I hope 9E gets its sh*t together before somebody gets hurt..........

I hope the same thing for Northwest.

Seems like no one wants to talk about the NWA incident last night. I'll be really interested to hear what the NTSB and FAA say about this one. I'm sure it wasn't the pilot's fault with all of their superior knowledge flying for NWA.

jetflier, good job on turning this back to 9E. NWA bends a couple of planes and you STILL stab at Pinnacle.

Nice job, dude. It wasn't you in that DC9 last night was it? Oh no, that's right you fly 75's to SYR. Sorry.

At least someone was in the cockpit!

Not a bad idea....as long as they don't leave their aircraft with the engines running and no pilot in the cockpit!

I heard that BOTH the Northwest pilots on the DC-9 are furloughed Pinnacle guys.

Errr... wait a second.

Ken -- shut up while you are still behind.

It's all in how you perceive the symbol dude.

Seems kinda' d*cked up to me. I think they should have kept it pointing to the LEFT (North*WEST*). Just me.

I get it dude, but if you look at the symbol differently, it still points to the NW. Just on the opposite side of the tail. Don't lose any sleep over this bro. ;)

HAHAH! Now I get your message. :)

Hell, I saw Pamela Anderson in KLAS last night. I am already losing sleep. She was hideous! Talk about over-rated. *GAG*
