At day 656 this is an industry update, someone feel free to add or correct anything.

SWA is going to hire 100, app window opens +/- March 5th and will be open for a short time. For this round you have to have a 737 type.

JB is still hiring, no numbers

Delta is thinking about hiring

United has been rolling their pilots into their days off to cover flying and it's not summer yet. They are thinking about recalls.

American is claiming the FT/DT is going to cost them 25% more pilots, we all know this is a lie. So the real cost is between 6% - 10%, which means they are going to need 750 to 1200 pilots.

FedEx is hiring, the numbers range from 200 to 800, I've heard from a good source it's 500.

Yesterday at the WIA conference the UPS HR lady stated that the furloughs would be back before the end of the year, HER WORDS NOT MINE.

USAirways is hiring into Philly on the E190, 200 new hires. App window is supposed to open in March.

Virgin America is hiring again, they didn't say how many.

Atlas is going to hire another 100 pilots for the 747-800.
