It is 1002 days, 18 hours, 58 minutes and 48 seconds until Friday, December 14, 2012 (UTC time)

Get you some!

Gup

Making sure we're on the same page:

There are no forced retirements until 12:01am December 15, 2012.

1003 days, 23hrs, 35min.

I am certain that is what the GeezerMeter has been established on. It's only important because the "Triple D's" are comming soon.

Spot on!

Andy,

your post, #719, is among the most accurate I have ever read on this site. You hit the nail on the head!

Spend less than you make, strive to be debt free upon retirement and put money in the bank for a rainy day.

Its really easy to understand conceptually, but it is so hard to do!

Regards,

dane

I cannot believe 1000 days will be broken soon.

It is 1003 days, 18 hours, 41 minutes and 19 seconds until Saturday, December 15, 2012 at 12 AM (Washington DC time)

WSCRJ is correct.

Formatted for my alpa friends:

Where as: After further review, the bill was signed late on December 13.

Where as: It says, "Those that turn 60 years of age on or after December 13 are permitted to continue employment."

Therefore be it resolved that the GeezerMeter should read:

1000 days, 10 hours, and 5 minutes remaing until 12:01am December 13, 2012.
