Just asking for some opinions... Currently a 121 FO at a regional, but upgrades are in the very distant future and I commute to work. There's a local 135 outfit hiring FO's, and apparently the upgrade is a year or two. Pay is about the same. Any reactions?

Do what you think is best for your career. Personally I think going 135 and being a gear flipper for a year and a half beats 3-4 years at a 121 job. If your future career goals require the usual 1000pic turbine, then 135 might be your fastest shot. But you also have to factor in QOL. You could be tied to a 30min gear up leash for 20 days a month. It really depends on what you want to get out of it.
