Knowledge of a large work force involved in a contentious contract battle can hardly qualify for micro-managing. Expansion of the fractional business was WB's stated goal. He certainly was aware that the resources were being used to fuel that growth, rather than fairly compensate the pilots. IF (and that's a huge stretch) he wasn't previously "in the know", then having NJ pilots picketing the BH shareholder's meeting in Omaha certainly DID get the message across. Pilots carrying signs that read "NetJets Pilots Seek Livable Wages" was a priceless sight impossible to miss.
