    RIP AirTran. Nostalgia thread

Best wishes Unlike another poster, We always rode Air Tran 2-3 times per year for the last 10 years. I can honestly say I never had a bad ride. Air Tran was always my first choice. Thanks to all the professionals who made riding in the back a pleasant experience. Most memorable flight...

    Flight Department Down Sized

Were they not supposed to be getting Challenger 300's to replace the 900XP's? If they are the two matching one's with blue belly's, We tried to buy the 2012. Wanted a price that was far from realistic.

    Crash at ASE...

I have a friend who is a 604 driver. He was of the opinion that was the pusher. He said is was a 80lb push on the Challenger. He said it will take the yoke out of your hand.

I felt like the tower was covering itself. I have rarely heard them be so specific to quiz each aircraft to ensure they had Romeo.

    Hey Falcon 10 Guys

I have no issue with older well maintained aircraft. I do however think ANY swept wing jet operating on a daily basis out of a 3700 foot strip is a formula for disaster. Even more so if his legs are only an hour. I would do some studies in the time difference on the legs you expect to fly. I...

Just got a call from the guy I fly with. He flew with her at Fractionair. Obviously he is very upset. Spoke highly of her.

I think you know nothing about me or my daughter and you just confirmed my theory. I was not the one who introduced the female angle, nor was I the only one who thought it was tasteless. For the record, I am about as anti PC as it comes. My daughters record is where it belongs. In the USAF...

    Its Fractional King Air Time

With the wing lockers, clubs and bags should not be a problem. (I assume the lockers) The 200 was very successful for Travel Air. I flew many of the initial demo's. Acceptance was very good. There is still a loyal group who avoid jets due to perception. With the current hate spewed from the...

Easy there Richard. I have a daughter that is a C-130 crew chief. If you think they don't get crap blamed on them just because they are female, you need to put your bong down. Even when she has to train people who were in her class to start, she is "The female". 1st in her class to level five...

    Phenom 100 info

I never want to fly without an APU again! Ours on the 750 will hang meat, and the heat on that 18 degree departure day was really nice. Inflight capability is a great safety factor for pressure / electrical problems. Not to mention the hold at Teterboro at the end of the runway. Shut both down...
