How do you know their age?

    Frontier Airlines

That's a huge understatement. My vote (and many others) was FAPA's to lose which they did in spectacular fashion. It was a head scratcher how and why that was the best effort that they could come up with (talking about the RPC). Seriously, the Teamsters delivered this pilot group to them on a...

    Frontier Airlines

Oh I know, I was just illustrating why the IBT won so handily compared to the "competition." I left shortly after I voted to strike and well short of the 1000 121 TPIC. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What were the other options again?

    FAA changes SFO Landing Policies

Are you kidding me?! How about they learn to fly in this country as opposed to us changing our policies and procedures to fit their skill-set.

    Asiana 777 Crash

Sounds like all were plenty experienced (TT wise).

Question for republic guys in CMH area...

No clue but it was very sudden. I can't help but wonder if it had to do with his recent divorce or if it was a diff of opinion with the office (I don't think he is still there practicing medicine at all). Very odd, that's for sure. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Question for republic guys in CMH area...

He probably knows that RAH is the only 121 carrier with a rather large crew base in CMH. Don't take it personally, I didn't.

Question for republic guys in CMH area...

Yeah, the guys at my office all went to the guy who is no longer practicing. The new guy that most of us are using is up in Delaware (inconvenient but everybody likes him). Dr. John Schoettmer 614-746-5214 Delaware Muni Airport Jetstream Corporate Center 1075 Pittsburgh Dr. Delaware, OH 43015...

Chronic sinusitis/to fly or not to fly

It's the airliner environment. Seriously. My health is much better now that I am flying corporate. Have you tried taking Naproxin Sodium or some other anti-inflammatory? That may help open up the sinuses a bit. Good luck.

    Are you a cocky pilot?

I'd ask the question of FO's that will speak up to the CA too.

    Are you a cocky pilot?

And do you know what generation is responsible for giving kids all of these damn "participation" trophies and rewarding losing and low-effort and instituting "no score keeping" leagues for your kids? What generation feels that kids, especially their kids can do no wrong? What generation never...

    Emirates Looks At Transpacific Operation

I don't know that Emirates "takes flying away" from top-tier corporate departments. It could be that the math doesn't make sense when you look at flying one individual to multiple international destinations when compared to using an airline for the same trip. It's not an uncommon practice in...

    Tailess Q400 in IAD

    Melted Engines

I would love to know why there has been no report posted on the NTSB site let alone stuff in the media. Apparently the lid has been kept on pretty tight, even from PSA employees who don't seem to know much either. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Melted Engines

I agree with that process but I'm getting my info from a source that doesn't involve pilots so I am weighting it accordingly. :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    You are wrong.

    Melted Engines

I understand all of that. My previous post was nothing more that explaining the memory item and what I think the likely course of action by the crew was. Obviously the cont. ign. came on with the stall and it can't be over-rode but as soon as the stall was broken they would have had to engage...

    Melted Engines

The memory item in the CRJ-100/200 for a dual engine flameout is: Continuous Ignition....ON Airspeed....240kts Minimum That's it and it's not dependent upon altitude even though the engine relight envelope doesn't begin until 21,000'. I can't tell you why airspeed is second and ignition is...
