    High Performance Question

What you said would make more sense, but unfortunately each power plant must produce more than 200 hp to be considered a "high" performance aircraft. It's difficult to use the term high performance and twin comanche in the same sentence anyway.

    C402c Poh?

Mr. Freeze, Thanks for the info about flight safety. I checked them out. They do have what you're talking about but it's a little too much quan for me. Thanks for the reply roninpilot

    C402c Poh?

You are the man! Tarp, I've searched the internet far and wide and have asked around but I have never found that website. That's exactly what I was looking for. I did tell Cessna that but they were specific about only having serial number POHs. Thanks again Roka

    C402c Poh?

Does anyone know where I can get a copy of a C402C POH for a reasonable price. By reasonable I mean considerably less than the $300 Cessna wants to charge. Thanks

    Army Fixed Wing Guard/Reserve openings?

Saint, Thanks for the info. As of right now apparently there is a hiring freeze on all AGR jobs. I'm not sure how much longer it is going to last. Primarily I was focusing my search on part-time Guard/Reserve jobs. Take Care

    Army Fixed Wing Guard/Reserve openings?

Hello, I'm an AH-64 IP currently in Korea. I'm separating from active duty in September of this year. Any of you fixed wing guys know of any units that have openings? I'm willing to relocate. I haven't been to the MEFQC but have all of my civilian fixed wing land ratings. Thanks

Army Pilots! (APTAP) Meeting in DFW 6/15

Thanks for the reminder. I'm in Korea so I won't be able to make it, but I know alot of guys that will be there. Should be a great one.

    Army Fixed Wing Guard/Reserve jobs?

Thanks gents for the replys. I was on the phone for several hours talking to alot of Army Guard/Reserve Fixed wing units and didn't have a whole lot of luck. From alot of people I've spoken with it seems easier to get an Air Guard Fixed wing slot (which requires commisioning, 1-2 years flight...

    Army Fixed Wing Guard/Reserve jobs?

I'm currently an Army Helo guy that is close to seperation. Are there any C-12/C-23/C-26 aviator slots out there in the Guard/Reserve that are willing to send someone to the MEFWQC? Thanks for your time. Dean

    ATP Training

If you want the shake and bake get it over with in two training flights and a checkride I recommend All ATPs. I did mine in Arlington, Tx ATPs. They are pretty good at teaching the checkride. I will say I've had varying degrees of experience at other ATPs, some not so good. I would ask around...

    Cia

Diesel8, I haven't seen the movie "ronin pilot" but I'll have to check it out. I my friend happen to learn terms from other things like books. I greatly appreciate informative info on prospective jobs such as what avbug and TurboS7 provided. However well intended, I don't need someone who's...

    National Guard

Utahpilot, I'll be honest, you're at a disadvantage with your age. Anything is possible, you can possibly get a waiver for your age but I'm not sure. The normal age cut-off to begin flight school is 27 1/2. However I've seen older guys go to flight school. You need to contact a guard unit and...

    National Guard

The Army National Guard is hurting for pilots in most states. Some of the Apache Units are actively looking for pilots. Go out and meet some people at these units and talk to them. It's a great way to go, I'm partial to the Apache (Since I fly one) But Army Helo flying is a blast and the guard...

    Cia

Thanks for the info, I am not some how you say "Air America" Groupie, I am in fact a government aviator and have worked with intelligence agencies in the past. Just not directly for them. You can save the condescending, snide and uninformative remarks for your fellow private pilots. I'm looking...

    Cia

Thanks for the info, but I've been all over the CIA website many times and have never seen anything about flying positions. I will still send them a resume though.

    Jobs in Mexico/Costa Rica??

I'm leaving the military in September of this year and very much want to move to Costa Rica or Mexico. Does anyone know of any pilot jobs in these locations? I'm rated in both Helo and airplane and am wondering what hurdles must be overcome to fly down south as far as work visas, language...

Helo Training question with a Twist

I'm going to be a little more optomistic than the previous postings. I believe you have a good chance. Helicopter flying definately provides for a different sensation as has already been posted, but it's different than being subject to several Gs for extended periods of time. I would...
